Lin Green is a community Advocate with a background in Criminal Justice, Public Administration, Crisis Intervention, and Crisis Counseling.

Lin currently holds a long-standing position with a government agency which now spans over fifteen years, under which she’s earned crisis response certifications, a victim advocacy designation certification from the State of Florida Attorney General’s Office, and a commendation for Advocate of the Year as presented by the districts State Attorney’s Office. She has expansive volunteerism working with youth in under-served communities and who’ve fallen under the supervision of the Criminal Justice system and Department of Children and Families.

Lin held the Program Director position for a mentoring program she co-developed for young ladies in Seminole County (Elite Ladies of the Police Athletic League), fitting a need for female mentorship that otherwise didn’t exist at the time. Additionally, as a member of the Florida Crisis Response Team she’s had the distinct opportunity to travel to crisis incidents throughout the country to provide support.

Lin is a member of the county’s Domestic Violence Task Force as well as the Sexual Assault Response Team, and a Greater Orlando Human Trafficking Task Force (GOHTTF) liaison. 

In all of the above roles, Lin has not only received additional training in comprehensive areas of developmental performance allowing her to see the effects associated with family dysfunction and trauma, but she’s also been able to assist others in times of crisis with said knowledge.
